From Minnesota Creek Rd, Paonia, Delta County to Co Rd 710A, Paonia, Gunnison County, Colorado
Section turns from gritty asphalt to gravel/dirtpack around the start of this route. Road continues on past end point of this section as a forest road...no unauthorized vehicular access past the gate from last rifle season in Dec.- end of April. Thick mud/slush is usually present winter-spring when temps are above freezing: not fun, IMO.

We started on Minnesota Creek Road just out of town where the pavement ends. It was a lovely ride on a solid gravel road through ranches surrounded by mountains. Around 3.5 miles there was a fork - FR 711 to the left goes to a reservoir and has some climbing (so we heard). We went right onto CR 710 which was more of a dirt road than a gravel road but still nice. Turned around before it became FR 710. A lovely ride with very little traffic.
