As of 9/21/23 Brace Road has sections that are severely washed out. Deep channels on either side of the center of the road (1 1/2' deep) make for extremely challenging conditions. Puddles can be unexpectedly deep so proceed with caution when going through water. Whether you're climbing or descending you'll pat yourself on the back if you manage to stay on the bike the entire length of the road. Beautiful forests surround you but you'll be too busy most of the time negotiating the deteriorated conditions. It's been a wet summer and this road took a beating.
