A gradual, secluded, scenic climb through the woods from Hinsdale to Ashuelot. You'll pass some old buildings (@ 42.789902, -72.457020) that just add to the atmosphere of the old rail trail. Watch the trail for hazards especially after a rain, because it can get muddy in spots where water descends 400 feet from the hills to your right as you travel East.
